Sniff

I'm still very, very and by very I mean, very sick. Being "under the weather" is putting it very mildly.

The good thing about being sick is - I've not been to work in days. Less of my workplace is always a good thing.

Anyhoots, here is another Taipei shot of my newly chopped and dyed(?) hair, my lovely Prada butterflies and my blue nails in a random streetsnap by one of the gang on our trip to Taipei.

A Long Time Ago

Tiny

My legs look so tiny here!
Do please ignore the strange outfit above. I had changed out of my jeans for comfort's sake. You can see here a shot of my short hair, just before I got it trimmed again. It's a little shorter and thinner now in the front and just...a little shorter. I don't know how else to describe it. A little Sinead O'Conner-ish perhaps. But oh well.

It's finally Friday! *jumps* :)

Into The Blue

I realised I don't have many recent shots of my current super short hair. I will wait until I meet Rachel again, after all her exams end, and also when I am less frazzled. I will get her to take some pictures of my hair, and also, the Vivienne Westwood bag that I had wanted a long time back which I had finally gotten sometime back. It's really, really lovely and I can't wait to get some photos done to show you guys.

The Vivienne Westwood Silver Armour Ring! At last! *cries tears of happiness*




After resisting 3 times, I finally succumbed and got myself Prada's butterfly shades. They are huge and they are fun. :D



One more shot of my hair. You can see a tinge of the purple! It isn't as purple as I wanted it though, but I love it overall. Not to mention, it's incredibly comfortable.

Keeping It Short

I'm pleased as punch. :) Not to mention extremely comfortable.
Will post better pictures for when I take better pictures.
Then at least you can see the lovely dark colour of an auburn-based-violet that the stylist graciously mixed for my hair.

P.S. I have work to take home this weekend. I am utterly depressed. I thought once school was over I wouldn't have to write essays anymore. But this is what happens when you come back to work in a school. So, so, so, so dumb. Not to mention depressing. :(

Calling In Slick

I am truly sick of my bangs - they're tickling my face like there's no tomorrow. And yes, I'm still having a terrible day. This old picture captures all the disgruntled-ness I am feeling. Although, I will say I love that little blue-ish green wisp of hair sticking out at the side. It was a pleasant surprise.

I am also debating whether to incorporate by love for Bill Kaulitz on here. We'll see. He's quite the fashion icon. ♥

Channelling Apples

So, it's been a pretty depressing past few posts I know. We all have good days and bad days. I've been cheering myself up with lots of Shiina Ringo; whether it's her music, her interviews, her live performances or her sheer beauty & eclecticism.

I like this photo - as it is one of the best photos of my hair looking like hers when she performed ギャンブル/Gamble live. It's my personal favourite hair-style of hers, and me getting my hair cut at the very same time I discovered her was a cosmic coincidence, I believe, i.e. meant to be. (I can hear you all laughing. :p) This performance is heart-stopping, and I swear she cries at the end. There is of course no need to mention how amazing this song is (as well as the amazing movie it was used for), although I've just done so. Haha. :) Gomenasai.

Enjoy, all you lovelies.
Be happy, and when you are, stay happy for as long as you can before the next fall - you know it's gonna come back.

Snips and Coffee (and the Tribute to Carl)

So I used to have long hair. And it had a streak of pink and a streak of blue (which you can no longer see)

Then I cut it, for various reasons. And got it made more blue, which you still can't really see either.
By the way, my name is Hui. And the girl in the photo below, is called Rachel. She's mainly the one who takes pictures. Because she's better at it. She also loves Carl from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force - hence the tribute outfit of a white ribbed singlet, jeans and those bright green havaiannas.
